2018 Riverina Combined Schools Music Camp and Tour
The Riverina Combined Schools Music Camp and Tour will be held at Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre from Friday 25 May to Thursday 31 May 2018.
The camp and tour is open to all public school students from Years 5-12 and caters for concert band instrumentalists (bass guitarists are eligible) of all levels, from beginner to advanced. It is expected that all students who apply will be accepted.
Students will be promised a week of valuable musical, educational and social experiences. They will participate in a range of music programs including concert band, advanced band, instrumental tutorials and concerts, as well as team building games and recreational activities.
The camp and tour will provide opportunities for concert band instrumentalists to be involved in a wide variety of experiences and activities. These will include instrumental tutorials and concerts which allow students to enhance their knowledge and skills in music and performance. Students who attend the camp will also be considered for network and state tours and ensembles in 2018. Interested students from Years 5-12 are eligible to nominate.

What's New?
- A combined camp and tour! The camp will take place Friday to Tuesday followed by a tour of schools in the Griffith area on Wednesday and Thursday. Students are expected to participate in both activities.
- The application process is online! Please click on the link below to apply for the 2018 Riverina Combined Schools Music Camp and Tour. Alternatively, you can find the link on the Wagga Wagga High School Official Facebook page or head to the Southern Stars website. A confirmation email will be sent after the closing date Wednesday 11 April 2018. All additional correspondence will be sent via email so please ensure that a current email address is provided.
- A new start time and day of the week! Camp will begin on a Friday at 9.30am.
- Payment -All schools now operate on a different finance system. Once you have received your email acceptance, payment may be made either in full ($480) or in instalments at YOUR school.
Students who withdraw after Monday 23 April 2018 will forfeit all monies paid (unless circumstances are deemed exceptional by the panel). A $50 fee will apply for students who withdraw prior to this date. Further details regarding payments will be sent with your acceptance letter.
